Well, even though this week we had a low of 28 degrees, I'm going to pretend spring is springing. 😂 It helps that the daffodils are blooming and the flowering cherries are starting to bud, so it's not just wishful thinking! Which brings us to the point: what is the state of our gardens? Mine is woefully behind schedule. Every time there was decent weather the last couple of months (and we did have some nice days), life got in the way and we weren't home for them. Sooo, I need to cut back asap - if I wait much longer I will be cutting off some of the new spring growth. 😬 Sadly, it's supposed to rain again this weekend (Doesn't the weather know we have jobs during the week? 😂) so I'm not sure what I'll be able to do. But I will for sure be starting the next batch of seeds indoors and taking care of the seeds I started a few weeks ago. So this week I thought I'd share some of the spring gardening articles I have that may inspire you and/or help you to organize what you'd like to get done, starting with the garden tasks for March: A Few More Spring Garden Helps:Wanting some seasonal recipes?? There are a lot along with menu planning help here: From The BlogA Few More ThingsI just ordered these real-touch pink tulips because I'm enjoying the purple ones I bought last year so much and I'm ready for a change of color. Everyone who sees them thinks they are real! I've just started this book on the recommendation of a blogger I follow who LOVED it. It's been on my radar for a couple of years, but the review helped push it to the top of my TBR list. So far I'm really enjoying being back in Austen's world. 😀 Here's to a great week! P.S. After weeks of rain (we're 2" over our normal rain for this time of the year!), I'm ready for it! I've wanted to share the fun new vegetable variety I'm...

I'm so glad to be in this beautiful spring month where the possibility of sun and warmth is right on the horizon (for us in the north - I see those in the south already in shorts and dealing with 90 degrees!). Right now though, we're dodging rain showers trying to get yard work done and it looks like we will be working around them...

None of them are huge amounts, but I've added them to...
